Section Officer Horiculture ( MCD) :
- Bachelor Degree in Agriculture OR B.Sc with Botany as a Subject.
- Age Limit : 18 – 27 Years.
Section Officer Horiculture ( NDMC) :
- B.Sc Agriculture (First / Second Class) with 2 Year Experience.
- Age Limit : 18 – 32 Years.

DSSSB Section Officer Horticulture Recruitment 2024 Total Vacancies 108 Posts for all Candidates.
DSSSB Section Officer Horticulture Recruitment 2024 Exam Pattern -:
The Candidates have to Appear for a written examination for their selection for DSSSB Section Officer Horticulture Recruitment 2024. DSSSB will conduct Two Tier Examination i.e. II – Tier ( Technical – T1) for the post of SECTION OFFICER ( HORTICULTURE). The Examination Scheme for II – Tier ( Technical – T1) is given below :
- Consists of two Parts :
- No of Question Tier – I is 200 Questions & No of Question Tier – II is 200 Questions.
- Each question carries 1 mark.
- Total Marks Tier – I is 200 Marks & Total Marks Tier – II is 200 Marks.
- Duration Tier – I Exam is 2 Hours & Duration Tier – II Exam is 2 Hours.
- The Question in the examination will be bilingual ( Hindi & English ) except for the Language papers which will be in the language concerned only.
- There is 0.25 of negative marking.
- There is no negative marking for questions that have been left unanswered.
- However, after the process of Challenges of the Answer Key, in case there are multiple correct options or change in key, only those candidates who have attempted it correctly as per the revised Answer key will be awarded marks.
- In case a Question is dropped due to some technical error, full marks shall be given
to all the candidates irrespective of the fact who have attempted it or not .
5. Charts , Graph Sheets , Tables , Cellular Phone or Other Electronic Gadgets are NOT allowes in the examination hall.
DSSSB Section Officer Horticulture Exam 2024 Minimum Qualifying Marks -:
- General / EWS : 40 %
- OBC ( Delhi) : 35 %
- SC / ST / PH (PwD) : 30 %
- Ex – Servicemen ( 5% relaxation) : 30 % minimum
Note :
- For Applicants of Technical post code , the mandatory Minimum Qualifying Marks will be applicable only in r/o Section – B which is domain Subject Specific . There will not be any Minimum Qualifying marks in Section – A . However , combined aggregate marks of both Section – A & Section – B will be reckoned for preparing the final merit list ”wherever Applicable.
- In Two Tier Examination , Tier – I examination is only Qualifying in nature and used for Shortlisting only. Further selection will be made on the basis of comulative merit / marks obtained in Tier – II Examination.
