The condinates who Qualify in NTA UGC NET Exam 2024 shall have to fullfill the following Eligibility Requirement for Application form.

  • Passed / Appeared Master Degree in Concerned Subject with at Least Minimum 55 % Marks.

Question : What is the June net exam for 2024 ?

 

Answer : The UGC NET 2024 Exam will be conducted on June 16, 2024. The National Testing Agency is responsible for organizing this examination for eligible candidates who wish to qualify for a Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) or for assistant professor positions in Indian universities and colleges.

 

Question :Will UGC NET syllabus change in 2024 ?

 

Answer : The UGC NET syllabus is set to undergo revisions, as announced by UGC Chairman M. Jagadesh Mamidala. These modifications will align with the National Education Policy 2020 (NEP 2020) and will be implemented by the UGC.

 

Question : What is the official website result of UGC NET 2024 ?

 

Answer : For the January 2024 exam, the result was expected to be released on January 17, 2024. However, due to some technical reasons, NTA had to delay the release. Candidates can download their respective scorecards from the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

 

Question : Is NET exam valid for lifetime ?

 

Answer : The validity of UGC NET certificate for Assistant Professors is valid for a lifetime. However, the UGC NET JRF award letter is valid for four years from the date when it is issued.

 

Question : Can I do PhD without NET ?

 

Answer : According to the new rule, 60% of the PhD seats in affiliated universities must be filled by UGC NET or JRF-Qualified Students. The Remaining 40% of seats will be filled through Entrance Tests conducted by the Universities / Colleges.

 

Question : Which is better PhD or NET ?

 

Answer : NET is minimum Qualification for Assistant Professor. You can get registered for PhD with NET but most good universities will not appoint you for teaching without PhD. NET without PhD in not very good eligibility for appointment as Assistant professor especially for General category candidates. 

 

Question : Can I prepare for UGC NET in 2 months ?

 

Answer : It is advisable to start preparing for UGC NET at least 6 months in advance, and practice solving previous year’s question papers to get an idea of the types of questions asked in the exam.

 

Question : What is the net cut off for UGC 2024 ?

 

Answer : Category-wise UGC NET Qualifying Marks for Paper 1 and 2.
